OUR NEW WEBSITE IS LIVE!
The new site was designed to better share the mission of the Material Resource Center and make it easier for visitors to learn how they can get involved. With improved navigation, updated content, and a cleaner design, the website provides a more accessible way for volunteers, donors, and community members to explore programs, upcoming events, and opportunities to serve.

Our Impact in 2025
In 2025, the Material Resource Center continued to be a vital local hub supporting the global mission of Mennonite Central Committee (MCC)—providing practical relief, promoting peace, and sharing compassion with communities in need.
Through the committed work of volunteers and supporters, the center helped prepare relief kits, hygiene kits, school and infant care kits, comforters, and canned meat that are sent around the world to families affected by poverty, war, and natural disaster.

MEAT CANNING 2026
For 65 years, the Mennonite Central Committee (MCC) Canner has provided canned meat to people affected by war, poverty, natural disasters, and other crises. Each spring, the Material Resource Center hosts the MCC mobile canner, and volunteers are needed to help make this vital work possible.
1st and 3rd Wednesday of Every Month
WEDNESDAY WAREHOUSE VOLUNTEERS
On the first and third Wednesday evenings of each month, volunteers are invited to come anytime between 6 and 8 pm to help sort and process donations such as clothing, linens, shoes, books, and household items that are prepared for resale. This hands-on work helps generate vital support relief efforts and other volunteer projects.
